Attitude counts even for people with a bad credit - January 1, 2008
I did come across an advertisement that announced unsecured bad credit personal loans for up to $25,000. I rushed in to the lender and later on figured out that it was the upper limit that they posted. But it was heartening to know from them that these loans do not have the same high rates of interest for every bad score.
I was advised that for less than perfect credits one can expect up to $15,000 with a little high priced rate than other banks. I openly argued that this was exploitation, but the lender justified that this extra price means some security to the lender. I went ahead and asked him how one lender can expect a person with bad score to be able to afford to pay high interest rates than others.
He smiled back at me and said attitude counts! And showed me proofs of several people with bad credit personal loans who did repay on time. I was further told that after a single cycle of proper repayment the borrower improved credit scores. And the same lender has offered him a high amount as a loan with low interest. He added being loyal to a single lender counts. I returned with a smile.
